Very Long Time, No See.

I haven’t posted in pretty much forever (ZOMG!), but at least it wasn’t 9 months or some arbitrary number like that. Basically, after my last post, lamp-working ended and life resumed its normal, summer-blues doll drums and I had no new stuff to share. But the tides of change are rolling in on thunderous breakers. Hold on to your hats folks.

For anyone who is remotely interested, I’m back at the studio and churning out new pieces like a man possessed. The name of the game is “Decorative” with a capital “D”. Something having to do with my being bored with the regular shape of normal drinking vessels and someone who infinitesimally controls my very existence got tired of hand-washing delicate glasses (if you’re reading this, love ya mom).

Vases and wall bowls have been the primary focus of my gargantuan efforts. Color has also played a big part in all of my recent pieces, in fact, none of my pieces have been untarnished, clear glass except for a frankenstien monster of a goblet that looks like a caveman made it. I like it though, take it in whatever sense you want to.

I have about 10 pieces to show you guys, but I haven’t had a chance to photograph them all and load them onto the interwebz.
